Sigmadelta tau

Sigma Delta Tau was founded at Cornell University on March 25th, in 1917 by seven young women who felt un-welcomed by other greek organizations on their campus. As a national organization, Sigma Delta Tau strives to promote academic excellence, build leadership skills, establish a strong focus on philanthropy, and to create lifelong bonds of sisterhood and friendship. 

 

Alpha Xi SDT takes pride not only in our tight bonds of sisterhood, but also in our efforts to grow as leaders in our community. As a sister of Sigma Delta Tau, one takes the responsibility to act as a responsible and strong example, not only for other sisters, but for other members in the greater Boston University community.
